I am really proud of a few folks on this forum. They either came out to spectate, or participate. El Grande Guapo. You made a great student and after we soloed you (and bumped you up a class), you continued to gain speed, smoothness, and kept a great line. ** Golf Clap ** Spence300zx. I am proud of you. I didn't think you'd get to solo but you proved me wrong. I think I was most concerned with the dynmics of your car. That 3,000lb stereo system and being a 2+2 made it a bear to handle I am sure. I'm glad we got all your off track excursions taken care of up front. You soloed and I am proud. however, I am most proud of how you went off track the first time. You did everything exactly by the book. You did what was unnatural but prevented us from becoming burning chards of human remains. ** Golf Clap ** David. Get your racing license and get on with it. David had never been on a road course in his life. He had two sessions with an instructor and then soloed (and got bumped up a class) the rest of the weekend. Plenty of skill. To bad you drive an underpowered Hyundai. And it is true, the BMW club really had great things to say about what you could do with an underpowered cream puff car. ** Golf Clap ** Chris-TTZ. *sigh*...I wish it could of worked out for you. At least you have the brakes coming, you got a ride with Warren (satan himself...eff Mal1ce) and stilled *drove* home with a smile. Congrats and hope to see you out there. (no he did not crash. his brakes were pretty much 100% not track worthy. he did get about 10 laps in tho). again, ** Golf Clap ** ZWEEBACH!!... you're a nut. you really think you can hang with Andi B on the freeway like that? who are you fooling? 450 RWHP vs your 325/350??? comeon... again, you handled yourself fantastically and did real well. but I still owe you a kick in the ass for getting me pulled over by that *very* cute cop lady. ** Golf Clap ** Andi B... Did you get black flagged on EVERY goddamn lap? I mean hell... I told ya that track doesn't like folks that drift. You did do real well for that being your first time out there (minus the 3 laps you had with the "one lap of america" shindig. You did so well that you got bumped to the instructor/race group. I wish I could have played with you guys some more out there... Oh, your supra feels totally stable at 60-80mph sideways. Thanks for the ride Next time, sleep before you come out. ** Golf Clap ** Mugenracer... I am so glad you didn't loose your lunch in my car. :) It was a fun ride and If I didnt have chords for front tires, I would have made it a REAL fun ride. never the less, I'm glad you got to experience the thrill of HIGH speed driving in a safe and controlled environment. Cant wait to see you out there next year or even sooner. ** Golf Clap ** Lastly, Mike(dallas)... I never thought that you would attain the speeds you did in such a short amount of time. Once you learned what you need to, you took to it very well. I am VERY proud of how fast and in control you were. I never felt unsafe with you as a student (well, after the first 2 sessions anyway). Did you ever talk to the guy that you knocked into the tire wall? =) regardless, KUDOS ** Golf Clap ** Thanks for everyones envolvement and making the weekend a huge success. Thanks to the fiat club for sponsering saturdays event. Thanks to the Z club of texas for sponsering sundays event. Thanks to the LS1s from fortworth for coming out. I wish I could have been in your group so we could 'play' some. Before I start my race tire fund, I think I will retire to my bedroom for roughly 4 days of sleep now.
